WASHINGTON — A great evening at the Newseum in DC last night for the Season 3 premiere of The Last Ship. Among the VIPs at the event who took time to meet with the Sailors and Marines in attendance were actors Jocko Sims and Travis Van Winkle, Steven Kane, (the show’s co-creator), and the Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus.

Sims plays Lieutenant Carlton Burk, the head of the Nathan James VBSS teams on the show.
